Hailing from Balblair distillery in the Highlands, a nose of juicy prunes, cola syrup and dates from this 11yo dram was recorded. Following on, the tasting panel highlighted a dry palate with hints of walnuts, cured meats and leather. This develops into warming notes of spice and aniseed on the finish, with the likes of cardamom and liquorice being highlighted by The Cadenhead’s Tasting Panel.
