Scotland's Oldest Independent Bottler
Never-Chill Filtered, Never-Coloured
Everything Bottled in Campbeltown
We were expecting smokey, peaty flavours and that is exactly what we got from this distillery located on the north-east of Islay. Along with the campfire embers, smoked cheese and black coal that appear variously, there are also hints of a sea breeze, fishing nets and smoked kippers as well as a slight woodiness. A characterful and complex dram that will offer more delight each time you revisit it.
