Situated in Knock, Banffshire, Knockdhu distillery was founded in 1893 by John Morrison. This particular cask from the Speyside distillery has been finished in a PX hogshead since October 2020. This time spent in the PX cask has influence the spirit, giving it an abundance of delicious sweet notes throughout this dram. Some main highlights our tasting panel picked up on were notes of orange pulp, toffee apples, honeycomb, chocolate covered raisins and golden syrup.
