Founded in 1824 and situated in the heart of rich farming land, the flavour profile of whiskies produced at Fettercairn distillery are typically very tropical in nature. This 15 year old whisky, matured in a rum hogshead unsurprisingly displays an abundance of tropical notes throughout. Fruity on the nose, with notes of guava, papaya and bananas. On the palate, there is a slight earthiness which is then complimented by notes of coconut and demerara sugar on the finish.
