Owned and run by the Grant family, there is evidence that the distillery has been operating from as far back as 1791. This 20 year old whisky was a favourite with our tasting panel. This dram begins with a distinct freshness on the nose; notes of green apples, freshly cut grass and poached pears. A hint of subtle spice reveals itself on the palate alongside golden syrup and gooseberries. This follows on to the finish with notes of heather honey, lemon zest and oat biscuits.
